Garry Plunkett

Garry Plunkett has been studying New England plant ecology and experimenting with natural landscaping on his property in Tiverton for twenty years. He completed the Advanced Certificate program in field botany in 2003 and now teaches the Framework Trees of New England core course. He is Stewardship Coordinator, Tiverton RI Open Space Commission and manages town-owned natural areas including Weetamoo Woods and Fort Barton Woods. He is also on the Board of Advisors of the Tiverton Land Trust, is a NEWFS Plant Conservation Volunteer, and consults widely on native plant habitats and land management.
