Nature's Hide and Seek
Children in Grades K-2
Can you spot the striped chipmunk dashing across the forest floor? Can you find the tiny yellow spiders hiding in the yellow flowers in our Garden? Where did that mother bird hide her nest? Where would you choose to hide in the forest? We will investigate how animals of all kinds use camouflage and special behaviors to hide right in plain view. Let’s open our eyes wide and hope to learn some of nature’s “hide and seek” tricks as we explore the Garden and woodlands. We’ll play games, have a snack, and make a camouflage craft to take home.
