Does your child like to smell flowers, hold earthworms, or stomp through puddles? Is she anxious about insects or getting her hands dirty?  As caring adults, we can model behaviors that will encourage our children and grandchildren to make critical connections with nature at an early age.  Spend a morning learning some tips to make yourself and your young companions more comfortable and excited about being immersed in the natural world.  We’ll try some activities suitable for expanding your child’s horizons at home, in the back yard, and in such settings as the Garden in the Woods.  This course is designed for parents, grandparents, and teachers of children ages 3-7.
