Explore more than four centuries of garden and landscape history in a site which "Garden Design Magazine" recognizes as one of five sites in the world teaching about change over time in an original landscape. Gardens in this cultural/historic landscape range from original recreated 17th century raised bed kitchen gardens, to a High Victorian Garden and hothouse, the gardens of a Ukrainian Jewish immigrant, Colonial Revival and Victory Gardens. Modern teaching gardens include community gardens, a Victorian Children's Garden, teaching orchards and a teaching herb garden.
