Hone your observation skills by comparing a variety of habitats at Garden in the Woods during three seasons. Look closely at plants to understand their adaptations for survival in their different habitats. We will study upland woods, meadow and wetlands including bog, pond and stream to identify plants and other organisms in each habitat.  Record these observations using your field notes, drawings, photographs, rubbings, etc. No drawing experience required. Bring your favorite ID books, sketchbook, tape, camera, pencil and eraser, bag lunch and something to sit on.
