The Harold Parker State Forest is a large conservation area near Andover, MA. Visiting the southern section with a large pond, hills, and swamps, we expect to see more than two dozen ferns and club-mosses. We anticipate the hybrid ground cedar club-moss, ebony spleenwort, perhaps fragile fern, a Woodsia, and a few hybrid Dryopteris. Wear long pants, and bring insect repellent, a bag lunch, and a hand lens if you have one.
