Learn about some of the most common invasive non-native plants in our local landscapes and a few that are a bit more uncommon (at the moment). Through lecture, discussion, examination of dried specimens, and a walk, become familiar with identification clues as well as the habits of a number of these plants that are so disruptive of natural ecosytems. Discuss management techniques on both a home and a landscape scale and visit some control demonstrations on site.
