Gardening sensitively with native plants that suit the local landscape has many benefits, both environmental and ecological. Join landscape designer Liz Krieg to explore gardens that utilize indigenous and non-invasive perennials and grasses.  These beautiful gardens function as low maintenance, water conserving, and erosion controlling communities.

Liz Krieg is the owner of Rising Sun Greenhouses and Landscape Company, located in Bethel, Vermont. She offers landscape consultation and design services throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. High impact municipal plantings and outrageous containers are her calling card.

Being an avid plants woman she is always seeking new and different plants to use in her creations. In her large greenhouses, she grows high quality and unusual plants for sale to exclusive clientele. Liz is a degreed horticulturist, a Vermont Certified Horticulturist and a VT Master Gardener. She is an enthusiastic educator and dynamic lecturer known throughout New England.
