The class focuses on the unique life cycles of bryophytes and pteridophytes and tips for growing them from spores, along with other propagation methods. This hands-on course includes a spore-collecting field trip, spore processing, and sowing. Take home your own sown spores, fern gametophytes (“sporelings”), fern sporophytes (“frondlings”) and a mature spore-grown fern.
