This large hill is a favorite of rope climbers. It has many common
ferns, club-mosses, and horsetails, and several that are not common. It
is one of few places to see Fragrant Cliff fern (Dryopteris fragrans).
Woodsias are another highlight. Uphill hiking will definitely be a part of this trip.
Bring a bag lunch, water, insect repellent and appropriate footwear.
