Celebrated author and former New England Wild Flower Society Nursery Director, Bill Cullina, will introduce his newest publication, Understanding Perennials: A New Look at an Old Favorite. Instead of the usual encyclopedic listing of plants, this book talk offers what Bill describes as the psychology of perennials – their needs, wants, and potentials. Starting at the roots, moving up the stems, leaves and flowers, his book “provides both new and seasoned gardeners the strong foundation for a lasting relationship with these plants.” Following the talk, you are invited to stay for a book signing in the Garden Shop.
