Cape Cod Treasures

Explore the coastal ponds and shores of Cape Cod for native plant treasures.  We will visit a coastal pond at Nickerson State Park to see both common and rare denizens of those shores and take in wonderful vistas.  After a short drive, we’ll explore Crowe’s Pasture in Sesuit Cove is a chance to see a large mature meadow, tidal wetland, backdune and interdunal swale, with a diversity of seashore plants.  Several species that are uncommon or rare in New England will be encountered. A walk on the beach and a chance to taste a beach plum are included, no extra charge.
