A Day of Delights

Treat yourself to a day of sensory delights. We begin with a tour of Bedrock Gardens in Lee, NH, where we’ll enjoy a combination of horticulture, garden design, and art in a 20-acre integrated series of private spaces. Walk through an array of gardens -- Parterre, Asian, Spiral, Bosque, Dark Woods—and enjoy long vistas and water features. The owners introduce themselves as “Jill Nooney, visionary, horticulturist, sculptor, and landscape designer, i.e. the problem maker, and Bob Munger, engineer, water magician, hardscaper, i.e. the problem solver.” We’ll enjoy a catered lunch here and then visit nearby Flag Hill Winery for a private wine tasting and tour. Flag Hill, with NH’s largest vineyard, protects 114 acres in a conservation easement supported by the Land and Community Heritage Program and protects pristine river frontage for the Lamprey River.
