Container Gardening with Native Plants
Container gardening is a great way to add accents to your outdoor spaces. Learn how to create a miniature landscape in this hands-on workshop. First, we explore design elements, container and plant selection, lighting requirements, temperature, growing media, irrigation, and fertilization. Then you will assemble and plant your own container under the instructor’s guidance. Take advantage of the wide variety of native plants and containers available at the Garden’s retail nursery, or bring plants and a container from your favorite garden center. The class fee includes potting mix for your container.
