New England Wild Flower Society has special days for members only at Garden in the Woods. The Garden will open at 7 a.m. and stay open until 7 p.m. for members on the third Tuesday of July, August, September, and October. From 5-7 p.m. enjoy light refreshments on the patio next to the Education Building, including cheese provided by Cabot Cheese Co-op. At 6 p.m. on each of these special evenings, there will be extra special garden tours offered.

July 20 - a classic Garden evening with lighter classical music playing on the patio and a special tour by Robin Wilkerson, Gardening and Garden Expert

August 17 - a jazzy Garden evening with light jazz music playing on the patio and a special tour by Kristin DeSouza, Senior Horticulturist. Krstin will highlight the new edible garden and talk about the teas and treats she made for everyone to sample. Ingredients were grown in this garden.

September 21 - a Celtic Garden evening with light Celtic music playing on the patio and a special tour by Bonnie Drexler, Education Director 

October 19 - Peace and love in the Garden with luminaria lining the paths and light music of the 60's playing on the patio and a special tour by Scott LaFleur, Horticulture Director.
