Conservation Volunteers Wanted - The Conservation Department of New England Wild Flower Society is now seeking volunteers to join the Society’s award-winning conservation programs including invasive plant mapping, and other critical field projects throughout New England.  An important focus is the early detection and response to new invasions.  No previous experience is necessary. Comprehensive free training will be provided for those making a commitment, and the projects may be done locally. The Maine training takes place in Augusta, ME, on March 29, 2008. Volunteers are especially needed in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Central and Western Massachusetts.  Make a difference!   For more information visit www.newenglandwild.org  and contact jburns@newenglandwild.org  or phone 508-877-7630 x 3204.
