Sanctuaries
New England Wild Flower Society has sanctuaries protecting native plants across New England
The New England Wild Flower Society owns and manages ten sanctuaries in New England, protecting rare species as well as examples of New England habitats.
These preserved tracts of wild land serve as living classrooms and are used for many of the Society's field trips, classes, and other programs related to the study of native plants and their habitats.
Of our ten sanctuaries in four New England states, nine are open to the public. For information on these sanctuaries and how to visit them, you can download a copy of the Society's Sanctuary Guide in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.
